charming spot near parks and landmarks for weekend explorers
staying here was a delight with its beautiful decor and amazing rooftop views. The warm and professional staff truly made us feel at home while we enjoyed the convenient access to nearby Jardin Zenea and the Historic Center of Santiago de Queretaro, both just a few steps away, perfect for leisurely strolls, and the only hiccup was a bit of street noise at night, but it didn’t take away from the overall charm of the hotel.

This was my first stay at Casa Aspeytia, and I already plan to return. The staff excelled in customer service, promptly addressing any issues we had. Although the original room felt dark and stuffy, we quickly moved to a lovely room with a high ceiling and a small balcony overlooking the cobblestone street. I loved the rooftop restaurant, offering stunning views and excellent food. Breakfast was included, and the terrace setting made it even better. However, the noise at night—mostly from street vendors and traffic—was a bit bothersome, especially with the windows open. Some communication was in Spanish only, which could be challenging for non-Spanish speakers. Overall, a charming place with room for minor improvements.

Street noise can be distracting at night, especially if you prefer to keep your windows open for fresh air.

Rooftop views and warm hospitality
Immediate warmth enveloped us upon arrival, and sweet breakfasts on the rooftop added a delightful touch. The historical charm of the hotel makes it a true gem.
Unfortunately, at times, noise from nearby streets kept us awake, even with the windows closed. A few quirks with the air conditioning made some nights a bit uncomfortable.

A beautiful boutique hotel with stunning decor and attentive staff. The rooftop restaurant offers delightful views and a variety of tasty dishes, including fantastic burgers. However, the room I was initially given was too dark and had a limited view, though I was quickly moved to a nicer one. Noise at night can be an issue, especially with street activity, but overall, the warmth of the staff and the charm of the hotel make it a memorable stay.

It was just a fine choice for a brief pause in Queretaro, great for the money. Try to choose a room facing the street to enjoy the lively atmosphere, but be ready for some noise at night.
